Go Off The Beaten Path

Eager to take your business to new places and have new experiences but either…

1) Don’t make the time for it
2) Don’t know how to begin

If you’re deeply interested in something, what keeps you from doing it?

Try going off the given path, even if it’s just for 15 minutes. Push yourself to encounter the unexpected, unfamiliar scenes, new people and unconventional juxtapositions that are key sources of creative energy–and happiness.

     Yes, HAPPINESS.

Instead of worrying about being efficient or a perfectionist, spend more time exploring, experimenting, dissecting any failed attempts to learn and grow.

     What are you waiting for?

Before you know it, rainy day opportunities (we’ve had plenty of those in Denver lately) will be gone, swept from under your feet.

I’m going to take that first photography walking shoot next week and plan a solo bike ride before work. Both are scheduled in my Google calendar and Franklin Planner (I use both) so it will happen, and give me that much needed mental break from creating your outstanding logos, graphic design for print and website designs. It will happen because now all of you know about it so it must!

Cheers to taking your 15 minutes…soon!
